Job summary

NLACRC — North Los Angeles County Regional Center — is seeking a Consumer Services Coordinator in the San Fernando Valley. The role supports consumers and families with information, advocacy, and service arrangements, developing and monitoring plans alongside an interdisciplinary team.

You will identify services, coordinate with providers, document in accordance with NLACRC policies, and attend home, community, or office meetings, delivering empathetic, respectful support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work, sociology, or related human services field.
• At least two years of related experience.
• A Master’s degree may substitute for experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide information, advocacy, and service arrangement for consumers and families.
• Participate in developing program plans and monitor/revise them as needed.
• Identify and coordinate services for individuals and families.
• Documentation and reporting following NLACRC policies and regulations.
• Serve as an advocate for individuals served by community agencies.
• Schedule and attend interdisciplinary meetings with individuals, families, and providers.
• Identify barriers and apply culturally sensitive strategies; support in non-traditional settings.
