The Wayzata Police Department is seeking a Community Service Officer (CSO) to support the Police Department with essential duties, including property management, crime prevention, prisoner booking, traffic direction, enforcing parking laws, responding to medical emergencies, and assisting with patrol and investigations. This is a great opportunity for individuals interested in law enforcement, especially those with experience in police reserve, explorer, cadet, or internship programs! Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid driver’s license with a clean record, and the ability to work flexible schedules, including evenings and weekends. Preferred qualifications include two years of public-facing work experience, an interest in law enforcement education, and First Responder or EMT certification.
