Maplewood is now hiring for Community Service Officer

If you have a passion for serving the community and are interested in supporting a team that is committed to making a positive impact, we invite you to join the Maplewood Police Department, a well-respected law enforcement agency, as a full-time Community Service Officer (CSO).

Our full-time CSO performs work as a uniformed non-sworn officer to assist the department in various assignments; assists other department staff in routine functions; carries out animal control functions; responds to nonemergency calls; enforces parking regulations; and completes reports.

This is a 40-hour per week position with a variety of shifts available. The ideal candidate will have experience providing high-quality customer service, experience with animal control, and a desire to serve the community.

Our program is specifically designed to train and promote CSOs to Police Officers.
