Job summary

The Salvation Army Southern California is seeking a Service Center Coordinator in Cottonwood, AZ to lead local service delivery and oversee community programs. You will supervise volunteers, manage daily operations, and collaborate with divisional leadership to advance the organization’s mission.

Responsibilities include coordinating social services, food pantry efforts, seasonal distributions, and local fundraising initiatives, while maintaining records and ensuring compliance with policy.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Minimum 3 years of office management & social services experience required.
• Able to maintain confidentiality of sensitive client data.
• Computer literate in Microsoft Word, Excel, Publisher, Outlook, and TEAMS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Represent The Salvation Army within the assigned geographical locale.
• Provide assistance within the guidelines of The Salvation Army, including referrals to other resources as needed.
• Produce and process office correspondence, including emails and mailings.
• Maintain and inventory all Salvation Army equipment and supplies, including the ordering of office supplies.
• Keep and compile accurate records ensuring that reporting and record-keeping follow policy and procedure.
• Work with the Divisional Service Extension Director and other leaders to ensure accurate recording of services.
• Recruit, train and manage volunteers to assist with center programs and events.
