Job summary

BRC is seeking a part-time security monitor to help keep New Yorkers safe at our facilities. You will monitor building entrances, make rounds, answer phones, log observations, and respond to emergencies with basic first aid/CPR support as needed.

Vaccination is preferred but not required. We value reliability, good communication, and the ability to work 15 hours weekly (Wed and Thu, 4pm–12:30am) in New York, NY, with duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• HS diploma/GED required.
• Good reading, writing and verbal skills.
• Basic computer literacy required.
• CPR training certification or willingness to take training class in CPR.
• Vaccination preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor building entrance, make rounds to insure security of premises and answer phones.
• Document observations in logbook.
• Respond to emergencies.
• Provide emergency first aid/CPR assistance when needed.
• Related duties as assigned.
