Job summary

El Programa Hispano Community Services in Gresham, OR seeks a SUN Program Manager to provide leadership and supervision for six school sites. You will oversee SUN and P-3 programs, ensure high-quality academic support, enrichment, and family services, and liaise with schools, district leaders, and partners.

This role requires building partnerships, monitoring outcomes, and ensuring compliance with contracts and grants while guiding staff development and implementing program practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in child development, Education, Social Work, or related field AND a minimum of 1 year of experience OR the equivalent of 5-8 years of qualifying training and/or experience.
• Previous experience as a SUN Site Manager, or Extended Day Coordinator required.
• A minimum of 1 year of previous supervisor experience required.
• Budget management experience preferred.
• Experience and knowledge working with and organizing in Latinx/Communities of Color.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee recruitment, hiring, training, and evaluation of assigned program staff.
• Directly supervise, coach, and support SUN Site Managers.
• Set clear expectations, monitor performance, support professional development, and address performance concerns as needed.
• Supervise and support staff to successfully carry out their assignment and support professional development.
• Coordinated regular program team meetings to build and maintain a strong team.
• Attend scheduled program meetings with funders, school districts, and community.
