Job summary
El Programa Hispano Católico (EPHC) seeks an Extended Day Coordinator to oversee the SUN Community School program at Highland Elementary in Gresham, Oregon. You will collaborate with school staff, families, and community partners to design after-school activities addressing academic, enrichment, and social needs.
Responsibilities include leading Extended Day sessions, recruiting students and families, coordinating events, maintaining attendance records, and supporting grant and financial
Qualifications
- Must be bilingual (Spanish/English).
- Ability to communicate concisely and effectively, both verbally and in writing, in Spanish and English.
- High School Diploma or GED required with at least 1 year of experience in the related field.
Responsibilities
- Lead Extended Day programming and assist with clerical tasks.
- Recruit students and families for SUN programs.
- Coordinate SUN events and family engagement activities.
- Maintain intake and attendance tracking systems.
- Develop culturally relevant after-school activities.
- Motivate students to meet academic and attendance goals.
- Support grant narrative reports and monthly finance tracking.
- Attend meetings and other duties as assigned.
