Job summary

NTC invites qualified individuals to join the Community Safety Simulation Center team. The role coordinates and delivers instructional, facilitation, and operational work, preparing and operating simulation technology and leading debriefings to help learners improve decision-making, teamwork, and professional practice.

Responsibilities

• Open, configure, test, operate simulation, audiovisual, recording, and related training systems for each scheduled engagement.
• Load and validate scenarios, media, branching logic, sound, lighting, recordings, participant views, instructor controls, and debriefing outputs before customers arrive.
• Complete pre-use and post-use checklists; reset rooms and equipment; charge devices; replenish supplies; and verify that the next engagement can begin on time.
• Perform first-line troubleshooting; document failures; coordinate vendor, IT, Facilities, or security support; and communicate operational risks promptly.
• Maintain equipment, software, license, warranty, inventory, preventive-maintenance, repair, replacement, and vendor-contact records.
