Job summary

Northcentral Technical College (NTC) seeks a skilled Training Coordinator to manage the Community Safety Simulation Center (CSSC). You will deliver hands-on simulation experiences, facilitate debriefings, and prepare adjunct trainers for consistent CSSC learning.

You will coordinate readiness, manage equipment and records, and ensure safety, confidentiality, and high-quality learning experiences. This role is based at the Merrill campus, with potential for evening/weekend hours.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in criminal justice, emergency management services, fire sciences, public safety, safety/risk management or closely related safety field.
• Three years of experience delivering training, facilitating adult learning, leading group reflection or debriefing, supporting scenario-based instruction or coordinating customer-facing training or events.
• Demonstrated ability to facilitate groups, ask reflective questions, provide feedback, and guide learners through analysis of decisions and professional practice.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and personally deliver CSSC instructional, facilitation, and operational work.
• Deliver CSSC training using approved curriculum, scenarios, safety protocols, and evaluation tools.
• Lead structured post-scenario debriefings that promote reflective discussion and learning.
