The Wood County Human Services Department, Community Resources Division has a full-time (.97 FTE) opening for a Community Resources Receptionist in Wisconsin Rapids, WI. The primary responsibilities are set forth below. The work is performed under the immediate direction of the Community Resources Supervisor with additional oversight.
This position performs receptionist and clerical duties for the Wood County Transportation Program, Economic Support, Energy Assistance, Child Care and Food Share Employment and Training programs. This position further provides administrative support to the Division of Community Resources. This position must ensure compliance with Agency and County policies and procedures.
Associate Degree in Administrative Assistant or a Human Services related field, or three (3) years of relevant experience, a strong background in customer service, typing skills of 45 words per minute, ability to accurately operate a computer and software (such as Excel and Word, required) and other equipment as specified, and to learn any upgrades and changes which may occur. Also necessary are basic everyday living skills, the ability to understand and follow oral and written directions, and the ability to read, write, add, and subtract.
Basic office equipment used: copy machine, personal computer and printing equipment, FAX machine, calculator, and telephone.
