Eversource Energy is seeking a Community Relations professional to build and sustain strong relationships with communities and municipal leaders across MA, CT, and NH. You will coordinate outreach programs, monitor local policy changes, and support company initiatives through effective communications and stakeholder engagement.

The role requires 3–5 years in community or government relations, a bachelor’s degree in a related field, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public/Government Administration or related discipline or equivalent experience.
• Three to five years’ experience in community/customer care or government relations— five years preferred. Requires experience preparing and delivering presentations.

Responsibilities

• Works with Community Relations Team to implement strategies for community outreach and relationship development.
• Identify and support initiatives related to the company’s reputation with municipalities and the public.
• Provide guidance to internal partners on local political activities and emergent issues.
• Proactively build relationships with community, private, and non‑profit organizations.
• Support Emergency Preparedness and Community Liaison Plans to optimize response efforts.
