  • Relationship Building: Develop and nurture lasting relationships with community leaders, nonprofits, and business organizations, serving as a trusted liaison between Findorff and the community.
  • Volunteerism: Lead employee volunteer programs, plan team volunteer events, and share opportunities that encourage staff involvement and community impact.
  • Sponsorships & Philanthropy: Oversee philanthropic initiatives, sponsorships, and donations, aligning giving strategies with company values and priorities.
  • Youth & Education Engagement: Build relationships with schools, colleges, and youth programs to increase awareness of opportunities in the construction industry and support workforce development initiatives.
  • Internal Partnerships: Collaborate across departments to highlight Findorff’s community impact, manage internal events, and promote a culture of belonging and inclusion.
What We’re Looking For
  • A good listener with exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to build trust quickly.
  • Strategic, forward-thinking, and proactive, with a knack for turning ideas into action.
  • Well-connected and deeply familiar with the Madison community and its key players.
  • Extroverted, positive, and high-energy, with the ability to represent Findorff’s culture and values authentically.
  • Inclusive and community-minded, with a passion for helping others and giving back.
  • A self-starter who brings fresh ideas and creative solutions to challenges.
Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of nonprofit organizations, community dynamics, and stakeholder needs.
  • Skilled in cross-functional collaboration and volunteer program management.
  • Comfortable working some evenings and weekends as needed.
  • Construction industry or related experience is a plus.
