The Bungalows at Springfield East is seeking a Community Engagement Director to join their team!
The Community Engagement Director reports to the Executive Director.
PURPOSE
Sales & Marketing | Community Relations
The Community Engagement Director is responsible for hands-on sales execution at the community level through generating new sales leads, converting leads to move-ins, implementing Phoenix sales systems, and developing external business relationships to generate referrals.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Sales & Marketing | Community Relations
Accounting
- Codes and submits community sales department invoices for processing and payment. Manages the department budget, including labor and other expenses, impacting the community's bottom line.
Analysis/Reporting
- Provides detailed weekly and monthly sales and marketing reports, including industry trend analysis, to the Executive Director and senior operations team.
- Manages sales and marketing data, audits, training, analysis, and implementation.
- Maintains proficiency with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems, ensuring contact records are current.
- Ensures inquiry forms are available at the front desk and that qualified leads are entered into the CRM.
- Completes the Marketing Action Plan monthly.
- Conducts bi-annual competitive market research and provides data for market analysis.
- Identifies competitive opportunities and threats, presenting strategic responses to leadership.
Communication
- Presents the company and self professionally and positively.
- Meets monthly with the sales team to review activities and key issues.
- Assists in developing and rolling out Standard Operating Procedures.
Sales
- Educates the community about Phoenix's senior living services.
- Markets Phoenix communities proactively.
- Coordinates with corporate marketing to support lead generation.
- Responds to inquiries and communicates effectively with the team.
- Supports sales goals and occupancy targets.
- Conducts tours and personally closes sales.
- Promotes resident referral programs and conducts outreach for lead generation.
Requirements
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/LICENSURE - CERTIFICATION
- College degree preferred; 3-5 years sales and marketing experience, preferably in senior housing.
- Experience working with the elderly or disabled is highly desirable.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
In an 8-hour workday, associates may:
- Stand/walk for 2-4 hours at a time, totaling 4-6 hours/day.
- Sit for 0-2 hours at a time, totaling 2-4 hours/day.
- Drive for 60-120 minutes, 3-4 times a week.
Support/assist with lifting up to 50 lbs regularly and occasionally up to 150 lbs. Lift/carry up to 40 lbs regularly and occasionally up to 70 lbs. Use hands for grasping, pushing, pulling, and manipulation. Ability to bend, squat, kneel, climb, and reach occasionally.
