Community Relations Manager

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or related field

Skills: Ability to effectively communicate the mission and vision of Mercy Multiplied; experienced in event planning and coordination; detail-oriented, well-organized, self-motivated; thorough understanding of Mercy Multiplied's vision; skills in public speaking, multitasking, prioritizing, working under pressure; excellent communication and interpersonal skills; proficiency in Salesforce, Microsoft Office, Word, Excel; strong Christian work ethics.

Eligibility: Must be at least 21 years of age or older.

Philosophy: Our approach to fundraising is relational and ministry-focused, guided by the Spirit of Christ. We aim to deepen connections through participation, engagement, and ownership, fostering transformational giving aligned with the principles of Mission Increase.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Local Event Planning and Organization (45%)
  • Manage regional and national event calendars
  • Plan, lead, and execute events such as Friends of Mercy Luncheons, Walk for Freedom, Merry Mercy, including securing committee members and sponsors, managing logistics, budget, and guest experience
  • Creating, Cultivating, and Managing Local Contacts (40%)
  • Develop relationships with community leaders, donors, and volunteers; manage local committees; promote donations and volunteering
  • Community Outreach, Volunteer Coordination, and Tours (15%)
  • Engage with churches, businesses, schools; coordinate volunteers; host tours for visitors

Schedule: 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, Monday-Friday (40 hours/week)

Compensation: $55,000 - $59,000/year
