Job summary

ATTIC Correctional Services in Milwaukee seeks a Reentry Specialist to provide direct participant support, conduct needs assessments and coordinate essential services for successful reintegration. You will report to the Senior Reentry Specialist and help with housing, employment, education, financial stability and health services.

The role requires strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills, plus experience with trauma-informed care and working with justice-involved

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Criminal Justice, Human Services, or related field.
• At least one year of experience in social services, reentry services, or working with justice-involved populations.
• Ability to assess participant needs and coordinate resources; trauma-informed approach preferred.

Responsibilities

• Screen participants to identify needs in health, housing, education and employment.
• Develop individualized service plans with participants.
• Coordinate services with contracted entities and assist applications for housing/resources.
• Maintain records of assessments, referrals, progress and outcomes.
• Support center safety, crisis intervention and collaboration with partners.
