Job summary

City of Colleyville is seeking a Recreation Programs Coordinator to plan, coordinate, and support a broad range of community programs for all ages. This role serves as the primary contact for program registrations, facility reservations, and general inquiries.

The position requires a Bachelor's degree in Recreation and Park Administration or related field with two years of related experience or an equivalent combination, plus a valid Texas driver's license.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree plus two years of related experience or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• Must possess and maintain a valid State of Texas Driver's License.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize and lead a variety of recreational activities and programs.
• Serve as liaison to customers, providing information and clarifying policies and processes.
• Maintain records and prepare reports such as registrations and daily attendance.
• Organize and set up facility rooms and equipment for programs and classes.
• Perform routine clerical work including collecting fees, filing and answering the telephone.”
• Interact professionally with the public, coworkers and others in daily work.
• Maintain regular and timely attendance.
• Perform related duties as assigned.
