Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; 1–2 years in customer-facing roles is typical
• Strong communication and data-entry skills; ability to manage multiple tasks
• Ability to read, interpret reports and follow procedures accurately
• CPR & First Aid certifications preferred or must be obtained within six months
• Valid driver’s license may be required depending on assignments

Responsibilities

• Lead and assist in implementing recreation programs and activities
• Supervise programs conducted in Parks and Recreation facilities
• Plan and participate in committee work to introduce new programs and events
• Perform routine administrative tasks and paperwork
• Set up and take down equipment for classes and events; maintain inventory and equipment
• Assist in cleaning and maintaining facilities and support for special events
• Register participants, process fees, issue membership cards and enforce facility rules
• Work with volunteers and coordinate program activities with staff and partners
• Communicate with the public, departments, vendors, and outside agencies
