Job summary

City of Alvin is seeking a Recreation Leader to assist the Recreation Program Manager in administering and delivering recreation, fitness, sports, and community events for Alvin residents. The role includes customer service, program registration, scheduling, and contributing to marketing materials and administrative tasks.

You will help set up and maintain facilities and support gym and weight room activities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• CPR and First Aid certification or ability to obtain within 90 days of employment.
• Lifeguard Training Certification within one year of employment.
• Water Safety Instructor Certification within one year of employment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with program registration, scheduling, marketing and promotional materials.
• Provide excellent customer service to participants and citizens.
• Assist with setup, maintenance and cleaning of facilities and equipment.
• Support gymnasium and weight room activities.
