Job summary

Pacific Air Forces at Kadena Air Base, Okinawa, Japan, seeks a Recreation Aid to assist visitors with program information, greet users, and help set up events.

The role includes cash handling, creating maps and brochures, directing tours, and supporting base events. Candidates should have strong customer service skills and be able to work with staff and volunteers. This is a Non-appropriated Fund (NAF) position.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience assisting visitors with information and referrals.
• Cash handling experience with cash, checks, and card payments.

Responsibilities

• Provide referral and leisure information to customers who visit the Schilling Community Center.
• Assist customers with information on programs and services offered at the center.
• Organize and set up rooms for meetings and activities; help plan and execute events and clubs.
• Greets facility users, conducts tours, and decorates facilities for holidays and programs.
• Support in setup, monitoring, and tear-down of Schilling programs and base events.
