Job summary

City of Dallas is seeking a Recreation Center Assistant to support the development, planning, and implementation of recreational, cultural, and educational programs at its recreation centers for Dallas residents. You will assist with after-school programs, supervise activities, process registrations, maintain records, and provide excellent customer service while upholding safety rules.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement programs for adults, teens, children and the general community.
• Lead recreational activities and teach rules of various games to ensure safe, enjoyable activities.
• Assist with after-school programs and coordinate logistics for youth services and events.
• Maintain attendance records, reports on program participation and revenue; track materials and incidents.
• Provide program information and outstanding customer service to participants and the public.
