Job summary

The City of Dallas is seeking a Recreation Center Assistant to support and coordinate programs at the City's recreation centers, including youth services, after-school activities, and community events.

You will assist with program logistics, registrations, transportation for field trips, and outreach to promote classes. Applicants must have a High School Diploma or GED, First Aid/CPR within 6 months, and a valid Texas driver’s license where required.

Qualifications

• Education, experience, and licenses must be included in the application to be considered.
• First Aid/CPR certification required within 6 months of employment. Must possess a valid Texas Driver's License.
• All applicants must be 18 years old or older.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement youth and adult recreation programs.
• Lead activities and instruct rules of games.
• Assist with after-school programs and logistics.
• Maintain attendance records and reports of program participation.
• Provide information and excellent customer service to participants.
