Job summary

City of Dallas Recreation Center Assistant supports and assists with programs and services at city recreation facilities. You will coordinate logistics for youth, seniors, and community events, ensuring safe, engaging activities across centers.

The role involves administrative tasks, registrations, and customer service, plus transporting youth for field trips and assisting with marketing materials to promote programs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• First Aid/CPR certification within 6 months.
• Must possess a valid Texas Driver's License.
• All applicants must be 18 years old or older.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and implementing programs across centers.
• Lead activities and teach games with safety rules.
• Support after school programs and manage logistics.
• Maintain attendance and registration records.
• Provide information and excellent customer service.
• Transport youth to field trips and events.
• Distribute marketing materials and calendars.
