Job summary

The City of New Braunfels seeks energetic individuals to assist in coordinating recreation programs at DAS REC, New Braunfels Recreation Center. You will help run youth and adult leagues, camps, clinics and events while upholding safety and customer service standards.

Responsibilities include program delivery, registration management, and front-desk support. A valid Texas Driver’s License and CPR/AED certification (or ability to obtain) are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; customer service/public interaction experience preferred.
• Must possess valid Texas Driver’s License.
• CPR/AED certification or ability to obtain within six months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in coordinating and instructing recreation sports and programs.
• Provide program information in person and by phone, delivering courteous customer service.
• Maintain attendance and class records and assist with registration/reservations.
• Support event setup, teardown and facility use management.
• Respond to emergencies and enforce safety policies at programs and venues.
• Perform administrative tasks and operate registration software.
