Job summary

The City of New Braunfels is seeking a motivated team player to assist in program, league, and event services within the Parks and Recreation Department. You will support athletic programs, supervise events, and provide excellent customer service to participants and visitors.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED and customer service experience; Texas driver's license is needed with CPR/First Aid certification within six months. Evening and weekend shifts are common.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; customer service/public interaction experience needed.
• Recreation, nature education or athletic instruction experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in delivering high quality athletic programs and leagues.
• Plan, organize, and instruct programs aligned with city objectives.
• Monitor outdoor sport leagues and provide materials/scorekeeping.
• Support field prep, maintenance, and safety reporting.
• Operate registration system and cash handling processes.
