City of Garland is seeking staff to assist with recreational activities and services at Garland recreation centers. The position supports information delivery, registration, and event setup within public facilities.

The role requires basic knowledge of recreation activities, First Aid/CPR awareness, and the ability to work nights and weekends. Eligible candidates must be at least 16 years old and able to lift up to 20 lbs.

Qualifications

• Education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.
• Age - 16 years and up

Responsabilités

• Inform the public regarding recreation center activities; register participants for classes and activities.
• Assist the public by phone or walk-up to provide schedules and program information.
• Perform custodial and customer service to keep centers clean and properly set up for events.
• Assist in inventory control of equipment and supplies.
• Supervise recreation activities and events.
• Enforce city and department policies as needed.
