Job summary

The Alzheimer’s Association in Columbus/Cincinnati, Ohio seeks a Program Manager to lead a volunteer-driven portfolio of community offerings statewide. You will recruit, train, and empower volunteers, cultivate partnerships with underrepresented communities, and drive data-informed impact plans in a grant-funded role.

You will travel frequently within Southeast Appalachian Ohio and collaborate across departments to expand awareness, education, and support for all communities across the region.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 3–5 years of proven experience in recruiting and mobilizing volunteers to achieve goals.
• Confident, goal-oriented, positive self-starter able to work independently with limited supervision and collaboratively with internal and external partners.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, coach, and manage volunteers to build grassroots movements meeting organizational goals.
• Activate and support volunteers using peer coaching and quality improvement strategies.
• Cultivate and manage community partnerships with underrepresented groups.
• Develop and execute data-informed community impact plans and secure Partner Agreements.
• Demonstrate cross-functional collaboration with revenue, advocacy, and leadership teams.
• Evaluate and improve volunteer performance and manage budgets, grants, timelines.
