The role focuses on operational leadership across programs, documentation, and collaboration with leadership to drive program performance and service delivery.

Qualifications

  • Experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities.
  • Supervisory or vocational/employment services experience preferred.
  • Valid NYS Driver’s License.
  • Reliable transportation with proof of insurance and registration.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations of SEMP, Community Habilitation, and Respite Services.
  • Assign and monitor staff caseloads to ensure balanced service delivery.
  • Monitor participant enrollment, service delivery, utilization, staffing needs, and program capacity.
  • Ensure services comply with OPWDD regulations, Medicaid requirements, Life Plans, Staff Action Plans, and agency policies.
  • Collaborate with leadership regarding program performance, staffing needs, service development, and participant outcomes.
  • Identify operational concerns and implement follow-up to maintain effective service delivery.
  • Directly supervise assigned staff and the Vocational Lead; provide coaching and performance management.
  • Monitor staff productivity, schedules, documentation, and caseload responsibilities.
  • Participate in onboarding, training, and ongoing professional development of staff.
  • Guide the Vocational Lead in administrative responsibilities and direct-service expectations.
  • Address staff performance, documentation, attendance, and service-delivery concerns as appropriate.
  • Participate in Life Plan and Circle of Support meetings; review and approve required vocational documentation.
  • Ensure service notes, monthly summaries, and other documentation are completed accurately and timely.
  • Guide staff in determining employment readiness, barriers, and vocational goals.
  • Monitor Job Development activity, employer outreach, applications, interviews, and placements.
  • Oversee required reporting, trackers, and program data.
  • Provide escalation support for complex participant or family concerns.
  • Monitor EVV compliance, including missed punches and attestations.
  • Support relationships with employers, partners, and training sites.
  • Monitor staff efforts related to employment retention, coaching, and skill development.
  • Ensure services and documentation meet OPWDD, Medicaid, and agency standards.
  • Ensure monthly/quarterly reports are accurate and submitted on time.
  • Monitor program documentation for quality assurance and billing readiness.
  • Address compliance or service-delivery concerns with staff.
  • Remain available for urgent staff or participant needs; attend trainings and meetings.
  • Serve as a point of contact for internal and external stakeholders.
