Job summary

Alzheimer's Association in San Antonio, TX seeks a Program Director to lead community programs, recruit and coach volunteers, and expand outreach across diverse communities. You will manage the Program Delivery team, travel up to 60% within the territory, and work evenings/weekends as required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; Masters preferred.
• 7 years of experience in recruiting and mobilizing volunteers.
• Experience in community health and community volunteer mobilization is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, coach, and manage volunteers; build a grassroots movement aligned with goals.
• Develop a balanced Community Program Offerings portfolio; secure donor relationships and grants.
• Apply best practices in engagement and volunteer activation; coach team in relationship-sales to secure agreements.
• Build and activate volunteer networks; evaluate performance and implement improvements.
• Develop partnerships with underrepresented groups to expand awareness, education and support.
• Lead cross-functional collaboration with revenue, advocacy, leadership, and other stakeholders.
• Create data-informed community impact plans and manage budgets and timelines.
• Mobilize and coach the Program Delivery team to advance mission and reach underserved communities.
