Job summary

Lutheran Social Service MN is seeking a Program Director to lead community-based programs such as Wraparound, Supported Family Time, Safe Harbor, and Parents as Teachers. You will manage overall program operations, ensure compliance with contracts and applicable laws, and supervise facilities and maintenance to support service delivery.

The role requires strong writing, public speaking, and leadership skills, plus experience with budgeting and reporting to funders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 3+ years of community-related work experience with caregiver engagement.
• Excellent writing, public speaking, and leadership abilities required.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Budgeting/financial management experience preferred.
• Familiarity with Word and Excel for reporting and administration.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and direction for community-based programs (Wraparound, Supported Family Time, Safe Harbor, Parent Home Visiting).
• Manage overall program operations and ensure compliance with laws and service contracts.
• Meet reporting requirements to funders and plan funding opportunities.
• Oversee facilities and ensure maintenance and safety compliance.
