Job summary

Lutheran Social Services of SD is seeking a Wraparound Program Manager to lead the Wraparound/Family Stabilization team, ensuring children, youth, and families receive coordinated, family-driven support.

The role includes guiding Family Team Conferences, supervising casework, and partnering with community resources to sustain program growth. Travel may be required; licensure in social work is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in social work or related field, plus four years related experience is required.
• Licensed Social Worker or Licensed Social Work Associate through the South Dakota Board of Social Work Examiners is preferred.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must successfully complete all agency background checks.
• Requires active auto-insurance, a valid drivers license or the ability to obtain one with approved driver status.

Responsibilities

• Provide intake services to families, referrals, and partners on Wraparound and the CARES model.
• Facilitate weekly Family Team meetings and guide Plans of Care and Crisis Plans.
• Assess family strengths, needs, resources, and circumstances to support individualized service planning.
• Provide counseling, resource coordination, and referrals to help families build on their strengths.
• Maintain respectful relationships with families, referral sources, and community partners and coordinate services.
• Maintain timely documentation in systems (CareLogic) and complete program data and reporting.
• Represent LSS and the CARES Wraparound program in meetings and training.
• Travel as required to meet with families, attend meetings, and coordinate services.
