Job summary

North Texas Food Bank is seeking a Program Coordinator to support the Food 4 Kids weekend backpack program and School Pantry Program. Responsibilities include coordinating efforts across Production, Transportation, and Operations, onboarding sites, training staff, and maintaining program records.

The role requires an Associate degree and at least one year in non-profit or customer service, with strong communication, organization, and the ability to work independently in diverse environments.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in social sciences preferred or an equivalent combination of education and work experience
• One year of experience in the non-profit/customer service industry preferred
• Able to work independently in diverse environments
• Excellent communication and attention to detail

Responsibilities

• Engage with external program stakeholders to maintain relationships and provide customer service
• Coordinate program efforts internally with Production, Transportation, and Operations
• Facilitate site onboarding, training, and compliance paperwork
• Create and distribute program documents, trainings, and SOPs
• Monitor site orders and fulfillment; resolve issues
• Maintain program records in the Cer es database
• Visit program sites to assist with distributions
• Identify areas for continuous improvement and growth
