Job summary

Abbott Library in Sunapee, NH seeks an experienced Communications & Program Assistant to support marketing, promotions, and programming for all ages. This full-time role reports to the Library Director and participates in circulation tasks, openings/closes, evenings, and rotating Saturdays.

The ideal candidate collaborates with the Assistant Director and Youth Services Librarian, brings creativity to outreach, and thrives in a small, supportive team with opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting library communications and programming.
• Ability to promote collections and programs effectively.
• Collaborative work with directors and youth services staff.

Responsibilities

• Support marketing/promotions and social media efforts.
• Assist with youth and adult programming planning and execution.
• Contribute to circulation tasks and daily library operations including openings/closes.
• Cover evenings and rotating Saturdays as needed.
