Job summary

CCAP seeks a dedicated program administrator to support the Substance Prevention Coalition Programs. The role includes implementing education, prevention, and awareness initiatives, managing STOP and Block grants, and recruiting volunteers to serve on the coalition board.

You will collaborate with town departments, schools, libraries, recreation, and police, representing the coalition in community events and public relations activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or related field; 2 years’ experience preferred.
• Substance Abuse prevention experience preferred.
• Excellent written and oral abilities.
• Able to convey essential information to supervise staff.
• Able to handle multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Proficient in all Microsoft platforms.
• Valid driver’s license and automobile insurance.
• Bilingual in Spanish preferred.
• Background checks required.

Responsibilities

• Implement education, prevention, and awareness programs.
• Manage STOP and Block grants to support coalition work.
• Recruit and motivate volunteers to serve on the board.
• Collaborate with local/state staff, schools, libraries, recreation and police.
• Provide outreach and environmental interventions and education to the community.
• Attend coalition meetings and take minutes; participate in public relations activities.
