Job summary

CCAP is seeking a dedicated administrator to support its Substance Prevention Coalition Programs in Cranston, RI. The role focuses on program administration, education, outreach, and collaboration with schools, libraries, police, and community partners to advance prevention efforts.

The position includes coordinating volunteer efforts, generating reports, and pursuing certification as a Prevention Specialist, while working to ensure program goals align with CCAP standards and community needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or related field with 2 years’ experience preferred.
• Substance Abuse prevention experience preferred.
• Excellent written and oral abilities.
• Able to convey essential information to supervise staff.
• Able to handle multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Proficient in all Microsoft platforms.
• Valid driver’s license and automobile insurance.
• Bilingual in Spanish; preferred.
• Provide/maintain all required immunizations and/or vaccinations.
• Complete all required background checks.

Responsibilities

• Maintain activities for assigned programs and review costs and performance.
• Analyze and plan a logic model-based program per needs assessment.
• Attend coalition meetings and take minutes.
• Become a Certified Prevention Specialist.
• Attend and participate in all Coalition’s public relations activities.
• Assist in grant development and reporting.
