Job summary

Action for Boston Community Development (ABCD) in Downtown Boston seeks a Community Prevention Program Manager to lead city-wide prevention education and outreach initiatives.

You will oversee program development, budgets, staff supervision, and collaboration with community partners to deliver evidence-based health promotion projects.

A bachelor’s degree in health education or related field is required; an advanced degree is preferred, with strong experience in youth HIV/STI prevention.

Qualifications

• Significant professional experience in prevention and community education.
• Demonstrated leadership and education in sexual and reproductive health prevention and outreach with adolescents.
• Demonstrated program management, design and implementation skills.
• Ability to work with diverse populations respectfully and effectively.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a city-wide community prevention education and outreach program.
• Develop educational and outreach models for diverse communities.
• Ensure delivery of evidence-based programs and current interventions.
