Job summary

NorthStar Memorial Group in Miami, FL is seeking a Community Development Advisor at Graceland Memorial Park South to lead pre-need planning for cemetery and funeral services. Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation.
• Familiarity with federal, state, and local cemetery and funeral regulations preferred.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to independently manage daily prospecting and follow-ups.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with churches, civic groups, veteran organizations, hospice partners, senior living communities, and other local organizations.
• Schedule and conduct educational preplanning seminars aligned with NorthStar Memorial Group’s program.
• Guide families through personalized preplanning and product presentations.
• Provide professional park tours.
• Prospect daily through seminars, web leads, file reviews, events, and community outreach.
• Schedule 10–12 qualified pre-need appointments per week and track activity in CRM.
• Respond to inquiries and follow up professionally.
• Maintain accurate contract paperwork and required documentation.
• Track performance metrics and refine approach.
• Stay current on veteran and Social Security benefits and end-of-life planning considerations.
