Job summary

SpecPro Sustainment and Environmental, LLC (SSE) seeks a Community Planner (Mid-Level) to support the 647 Civil Engineering Squadron at Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, Hawaii. You will help develop and maintain installation planning documents, facilities, infrastructure initiatives, and long-range development strategies.

You will analyze conditions, coordinate with Civil Engineering and stakeholders, and prepare planning materials while ensuring CAC clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Community Planning, Urban and Regional Planning, Architecture, Engineering, Geography, or a related field from a US-accredited institution.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant planning experience, including at least 3 years supporting military installation planning.
• Knowledge of planning principles, land-use planning, facility planning, and infrastructure development.
• Ability to analyze planning information and develop clear recommendations and documentation.
• Strong written and verbal communication with multidisciplinary stakeholders.
• Must obtain CAC and complete Tier 1 background investigation.

SpecPro Sustainment and Environmental, LLC (SSE) is a government contracting and consulting firm supporting military installations and federal agencies across the nation. SSE is seeking a Community Planner (Mid-Level) to support our ongoing mission with the 647 Civil Engineering Squadron (CES) at Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, Hawaii.

The Community Planner will support installation planning efforts, including development and maintenance of planning documents, facility requirements, infrastructure initiatives, and long-range development strategies.

What You’ll Do:

• Support development and maintenance of installation planning documents and related planning products.
• Assist with long-range planning efforts involving facilities, infrastructure, land use, and installation development.
• Analyze existing conditions, requirements, and proposed projects to support installation planning decisions.
• Coordinate with Civil Engineering personnel, installation stakeholders, and other organizations to identify and document planning requirements.
• Support facility and infrastructure planning initiatives and assist with development of recommendations to address identified needs.
• Prepare planning documentation, reports, presentations, maps, and other supporting materials.
• Assist with data collection, analysis, and validation to support planning studies and project development.
• Participate in meetings, working groups, and planning activities supporting installation mission requirements.

What You Bring:

Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in Community Planning, Urban and Regional Planning, Architecture, Engineering, Geography, or a related field from an accredited institution within the United States.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant planning experience, including at least 3 years supporting military installation planning or related facility/infrastructure planning.
• Knowledge of community planning principles, land-use planning, facility planning, and infrastructure development.
• Ability to analyze planning information and develop clear recommendations and supporting documentation.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to coordinate with multidisciplinary stakeholders.
• Must be able to successfully complete the required Tier 1 background investigation and obtain/maintain a Common Access Card (CAC).

Preferred:

• Experience with Air Force installation planning processes, systems, or related planning tools.
