Job summary

SpecPro Sustainment and Environmental, LLC (SSE) seeks a Community Planner (Mid-Level) to support the 647 Civil Engineering Squadron at Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, Hawaii. You will help develop and maintain installation planning documents, facilities, infrastructure initiatives, and long-range development strategies.

You will analyze conditions, coordinate with Civil Engineering and stakeholders, and prepare planning materials while ensuring CAC clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Community Planning, Urban and Regional Planning, Architecture, Engineering, Geography, or a related field from a US-accredited institution.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant planning experience, including at least 3 years supporting military installation planning.
• Knowledge of planning principles, land-use planning, facility planning, and infrastructure development.
• Ability to analyze planning information and develop clear recommendations and documentation.
• Strong written and verbal communication with multidisciplinary stakeholders.
• Must obtain CAC and complete Tier 1 background investigation.

Responsibilities

• Support development and maintenance of installation planning documents and planning products.
• Assist with long-range planning for facilities, infrastructure, land use, and installation development.
• Analyze existing conditions, requirements, and proposed projects to inform planning decisions.
• Coordinate with Civil Engineering, installation stakeholders, and other organizations.
• Assist with data collection, analysis, and validation to support planning studies.
• Prepare planning documentation, reports, presentations, maps, and supporting materials.
• Participate in meetings and planning activities supporting installation mission requirements.
