Cherokee Federal is seeking a Community Planner (Mid) to lead long-range installation planning at Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, HI. The role focuses on maintaining the Installation Development Plan (IDP), land use, transportation networks, and development actions supporting mission requirements.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree in community planning within the 50 United States, at least five years of planning experience, and three years in military facility or infrastructure domains.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in community planning or equivalent from an accredited institution within the 50 United States.
• Minimum five years of community-planning experience.
• Minimum three years of military facility or infrastructure experience.
• Pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal.
• CAC and DoD clearance capability.

Responsabilidades

• Lead development, maintenance, and annual updates of the IDP and associated district, area, site, and functional plans.
• Ensure IDP content is current, approved, and available through the Comprehensive Planning Platform.
• Review facility siting requests and DD Form 1391 packages for alignment with IDP and planning requirements.
• Prepare Certificates of Compliance and maintain a facility-siting request log.
• Analyze mission changes and environmental constraints affecting installation development.
• Prepare annual installation background and planning analyses.
• Serve as planning liaison with stakeholders and agencies.
• Document planning meetings and outcomes.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
