Cherokee Federal is seeking a Community Planner (Mid) to lead long-range installation planning at Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, HI. You will manage the IDP, ensure siting aligns with DoD standards, and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to support installation mission requirements.

The ideal candidate has five+ years in community planning, includes military facility experience, and holds or can obtain CAC/DoD clearance; AICP is preferred.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in community planning or equivalent from a US-accredited institution.
• Minimum five years of community-planning experience.
• Minimum three years of military facility or infrastructure experience.
• Requires CAC and ability to pass DoD clearance.

Responsabilidades

• Lead development, maintenance, and annual updates of the IDP and related plans.
• Ensure IDP content is current and accessible via the Comprehensive Planning Platform.
• Review facility siting requests and DD Form 1391 packages for alignment with planning rules.
• Prepare Certificates of Compliance and maintain a siting request log.
• Analyze mission changes, encroachment, environmental constraints, and other factors affecting installation development.
• Prepare annual installation background and planning analyses.
• Serve as planning liaison with internal and external stakeholders and agencies.
• Document planning meetings, engagements, decisions, and outcomes.
