Job summary

Oregon Food Bank is seeking a Community Philanthropy Manager – Prospect Research & Management to lead a team and guide research initiatives that build relationships and strengthen fundraising revenue. The role oversees complex reporting, data analysis, and moves management, while coordinating across the Community Philanthropy team.

The position is full-time, exempt, and hybrid, based in Oregon or Southwest Washington, with reporting to the Community Philanthropy Associate Director – Operations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in prospect research and management.
• 3+ years leading and coaching teams.
• Proactive prospecting methodologies with data mining.
• Experience with donor databases and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement prospect research programs aligned with revenue goals.
• Lead and develop the Prospect Research & Management Team and oversee vendors.
• Oversee donor research, portfolio management, and moves management.
• Develop systems for top-prospect relationship management and gift tracking.
• Identify major gift prospects of $10,000+ and conduct high-level research.
• Lead strategy meetings to strengthen relationships and annual fundraising plans.
