Job summary

Peoples Rx seeks experienced Texas-licensed Pharmacists to join our Austin team in full-time and part-time roles. We value patient-centered care, accuracy, and collaboration in a vibrant community pharmacy setting.

Positions offer a schedule with early hours, rotating Saturdays, and Sundays closed. You will be part of a long-tenured, knowledgeable team focused on personalized care and wellness services for our Austin community.

Qualifications

• Texas-licensed Pharmacist in good standing.
• Experience in a retail or community pharmacy setting preferred.
• Strong knowledge of pharmacy laws, regulations and professional standards.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a busy team.
• Comfortable using pharmacy technology and digital tools.

Responsibilities

• Dispense prescriptions accurately and efficiently while ensuring patient safety and regulatory compliance.
• Counsel patients on medications, proper use, adherence and concerns.
• Provide knowledgeable, compassionate service to patients and customers.
• Collaborate with prescribers and other healthcare professionals to support positive outcomes.
• Work closely with pharmacy technicians and other pharmacy team members.
• Maintain knowledge of pharmacy laws, regulations and best practices.
• Support ongoing development and improvement of pharmacy services.
