AMA Support Services in Pittsburgh, PA seeks a Community Participation Specialist (DSP) to support adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. You will help with daily activities, safety, and community outings, working one-on-one with clients.

The role emphasizes empathy, documentation, and consistent care. Salary ranges from $16.00 to $18.00 per hour with a Monday–Friday schedule and full-time benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience with caregiving, IDD, or autism is preferred.
• Driver's License is required.

Responsibilities

• Help individuals with intellectual disabilities live their best life, including personal care, chores, community activities, and safety.
• Complete daily progress notes so others know the individual's status and needs.
• Be a responsible friend, mentor, helper, and supporter to the person served.
• Monitor, document, and report changes in emotional, physical, or mental health promptly.
• Provide a safe, healthy, and clean environment for the individual and yourself.
