Responsibilities

• Help individuals with intellectual disabilities live their best life, including personal care, chores, community activities, and safety.
• Complete daily progress notes so others know the individual's status and needs.
• Be a responsible friend, mentor, helper, and supporter to the person served.
• Monitor, document, and report changes in emotional, physical, or mental health promptly.
• Provide a safe, healthy, and clean environment for the individual and yourself.

What you will be doing:

• Helping an individual with intellectual disabilities live their best life (which may include helping with personal hygiene, cleaning, cooking, taking them out into the community, and keeping them safe)
• Complete daily progress notes so that everyone knows what is going on with that individual. As a Direct Support Professional (DSP) for our CPS program, you will be making a direct impact on the lives of adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities while working with an individual in the community.
• You are being a responsible friend, mentor, helper, and supporter!
• Monitor, document, and report any changes in individuals, emotional, physical, and mental health promptly.
• Provide a safe, healthy, and clean environment for the individual and yourself.

Schedule:

The base schedule for this position is determined by the individuals being supported but is primarily a Monday-Friday position.
