Job summary

CPARC in Carlisle is hiring a Community Participation Instructor for its Community Fusion program, a day program for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. You will assist participants in a range of activities and help them become active citizens in their community.

• Must be physically able to care for participants with disabilities.

• Assist participants in activities of their choice and support community involvement.
• Help participants become active citizens in their community.
• Follow daily schedule for Community Fusion program (Mon–Fri, 8:30am–3:30pm).

Job description

The Arc of Cumberland & Perry Counties (CPARC) is a human services agency that is seeking a Community Participation Instructor for our Community Fusion program. This day program serves adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Community Fusion is a day program that was designed as a transitional program for individuals with disabilities to assist them in becoming active citizens in their community. Participants can choose from a variety of activities throughout the day. The Community Participation Instructor will assist these participants in a range of activities of their choice, including community involvement.

Carlisle- Full-time: Monday through Friday 8:30am - 3:30pm (35 hours a week)

Rate of pay $16.26 per hour
