Une agence de services humains recherche un Instructeur de Participation Communautaire pour son programme Community Fusion. Ce rôle contribue à aider les adultes ayant des handicaps à devenir des citoyens actifs dans leur communauté, en les assistant dans divers choix d'activités quotidiennes dans un environnement de travail à temps plein et favorable.

Qualifications

• Diplôme d'études secondaires requis.
• Une expérience dans le travail avec des personnes ayant des handicaps est préférée.
• Capacité physique à s'occuper des participants.

Responsibilities

• Assister les participants dans une variété d'activités durant la journée.

Job description

The Arc of Cumberland & Perry Counties (CPARC) is a human services agency that is seeking a Community Participation Instructor for our Community Fusion program. This day program serves adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Community Fusion is a day program that was designed as a transitional program for individuals with disabilities to assist them in becoming active citizens in their community. Participants can choose from a variety of activities throughout the day. The Community Participation Instructor will assist these participants in a range of activities of their choice, including community involvement.

Carlisle- Full-time (35 hours per week): Monday through Friday 8:30am - 3:30pm

Rate of pay $15.38 per hour

Requirements: A High School Diploma or its equivalent is required. Experience in working with people who have disabilities is preferred but not required. Must be physically able to care for participants with disabilities and must possess a valid PA driver's license.
