Job summary

CPARC in Carlisle is hiring a Community Participation Instructor for its Community Fusion program, a day program for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. You will assist participants in a range of activities and help them become active citizens in their community.

This full-time position runs Monday through Friday, 8:30am to 3:30pm (35 hours per week). The role offers benefits including health, dental, and vision insurance for the employee, three weeks of paid vacation, life

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience with people who have disabilities preferred but not required.
• Must be physically able to care for participants with disabilities.
• Must possess a valid PA driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Assist participants in activities of their choice and support community involvement.
• Help participants become active citizens in their community.
• Follow daily schedule for Community Fusion program (Mon–Fri, 8:30am–3:30pm).
