Job summary

City of Greensboro's Parks and Recreation Department is seeking a Park Attendant at Country Park. The role includes opening and closing the facility, cleaning shelters, restrooms, offices and parking areas, stocking supplies, and enforcing park rules while providing friendly customer service.

You may assist with paddle boats, support events, handle parking and crowd control, collect user fees, and operate small equipment.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license or reliable transportation.
• Customer service experience.
• Previous janitorial experience.

Responsibilities

• Opening and closing the facility and preparing operations for the day.
• Clean park facilities and buildings, sweep/mop, restock supplies, and disinfect sinks and toilets.
• Inspect parks for repairs and report maintenance needs to a supervisor.
• Explain and enforce park rules; patrol and deter unsafe activity.
• Assist with parking, crowd control at events, and collect user fees.
• Assist with pedal boat operations and use small equipment as required.
• Maintain physical condition for prolonged walking, standing, and lifting.
