Job summary

Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED required.
• 2 years of Paramedic experience required.
• Current Paramedic certification with the NC Office of Emergency Medical Services (EMS).
• BCLS certification is required.
• ACLS certification is required within 1 year of hire and must be kept current.
• CPI certification is required within 1 year of hire and must be kept current.
• ASLS certification is required within 1 year of hire and must be kept current.
• NIHSS certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Provides primary care and/or advanced life support, including medical evaluation, treatment, and stabilization.
• Supports existing health services and extends access to health services delivery in underserved populations.
• Performs in-home, in-person visits, assessments, and other interventions as needed.
