Job summary

Qualifications

• Associates Degree or comparable years of related case management and job matching experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated customer service skills.
• Reliable and able to work independently.
• Familiarity with the communities served and local needs.
• Public speaking experience.
• Strong computer skills with word processing and spreadsheets.
• Ability to develop and maintain professional relationships with management and the public.
• Must be organized and detail oriented.

Responsibilities

• Provide program orientations, WorkinTexas.com registrations, and workshops.
• Screen for program eligibility and job search assistance.
• Prioritize assignments and adapt within groups or in one-on-one settings.
• Interact with job seekers to match employers' needs and postings.
• Ensure timely data entry, documentation, tracking and reporting.
• Support workshops on interviewing, resumes, and job search techniques.
• Facilitate workforce center orientations and presentations.
• Travel between sites and workforce centers as needed.
• Coordinate with community organizations.
• Serve as point of contact for youth workforce services.
